2012 Manpower Group World-Wide Survey
Industry studies consistently show that the plumbing, HVAC and electrical industries have a severe shortage of qualified and trained service technicians across all trades. For example, the 2012 Talent Shortage Survey, conducted by ManpowerGroup of 38,000 employers in 41 countries and territories, found that businesses overwhelmingly identify a lack of available employees with the right technical expertise and employability skills here in the US as well as world-wide.
